BayoTechModel H2-1000 -Hydrogen Production Systems

SHARE

BayoTech’s steam methane reformers are more energy efficient than traditional hydrogen production. Building on technology first developed by Sandia National Laboratory, BayoTech’s proprietary design leverages high heat recuperation to achieve greater energy efficiency. Our patented reformer uses 20-30% less energy, saving money and reducing carbon footprint.

Sized to Meet Local Demand

Compact in size, our modular systems tap into existing natural gas pipelines or co-located biogas resources to produce up to 1,000 kilograms of hydrogen per day – that’s enough to fill as many as 200 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Larger units up to 5 and 10 tons per day are currently in development to meet your growing hydrogen needs.

Performance Guarantee

BayoTech’s hydrogen generation systems are designed to operate autonomously and are remotely monitored from a central control room. The system is designed with a target availability of 98% including planned and unplanned maintenance activities. Our BayoCare™ program guarantees performance and provides monitoring, routine inspection and all annual maintenance including parts and labor. Our quality management system for the H2-1000 hydrogen generation system is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

  • Higher Efficiency : More energy efficient than traditional hydrogen production. For our customers this translates to less feedstock, a smaller footprint, and lower costs.
  • Modular & Scalable : Our modular, upgradable approach enables customers to match hydrogen generation with their near-term needs and increase supply as demand grows.
  • Smaller Carbon Footprint : BayoTech’s high thermal efficiency and elimination of wasteful transportation result in lower carbon emissions compared to traditional hydrogen generation technology. Using biomethane for feedstock or combining with carbon capture technologies can even yield carbon negative on-site hydrogen.
  • High Reliability : A consistent supply of on-site hydrogen backed by the industry’s only performance guarantee.
