Biogas Filters
Biogas is often a mixture of gasses produced by enzymatic biological processes. Unlike natural gas it contains components produced by the fermentation of organic material like methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), ammonia (NH3) and smaller amounts of hydrogen sulphide (H2S). During combustion H2S and other organic compounds, in particular chlorines and fluorines, blends to form strong acids. Biogas is widely used as a fuel gas for heating unregulated boilers. The contamination can causes severe damage to the equipment.
