Burak’s BA-Series thermal mass meter works on the thermal dispersion method and uses constant measuring technology. It operates by observing the cooling effect over a heated transducer due to the passage of gas molecules through a closed conduit pipe. Mass flow meter consists of two sensors one is a temperature sensor and the other is a heater sensor. The temperature sensor monitors the actual gas temperature whilst the heater transducer is maintained at a constant differential temperature by utilizing the required current from the system to maintain its differential temperature. Accurately measurement of biogas generated from plants has been problematic due to its changing gas composition, low pressure, and dirty, wet gas.

Burak’s thermal mass flow meter works on the thermal dispersion method and uses a constant measuring technique that due to a slight heating effect, actually dries condensate moisture off the sensor. Because it has no rotating or moving mechanism the pressure drop is almost negligible.
