Midsummer - Model BOLD -Bitumen and Membrane Roofs
Midsummer BOLD is an ultralight and flexible solar panel which, among other things, is intended for bitumen and plastic membrane as a base, where the end product becomes a discreet solar roof. Midsummer BOLD is developed for larger roof areas on commercial properties, industrial buildings, warehouses and sports arenas, but also apartment buildings and private homes.
- The low weight of the solar panels means that no reinforcement of the roof is needed, i.e. no cost to reinforce the roof structure.
- No penetration of the roof waterproofing is done during installation
- Midsummer BOLD are so durable that you can walk on them
- The product acts as an extra protection on the roof`s waterproof layer and stops UV light from causing damage to the waterproof layer, which increases the life of the roof.
- Midsummer BOLD is sold with a complete roof replacement or retrofitting on an existing roof.
Midsummer BOLD is a Swedish solar cell innovation that is manufactured in our production facility in Järfälla outside Stockholm.
Thanks to low material consumption, a unique manufacturing process and production in Sweden, Midsummer`s solar panels have a 90% lower carbon footprint compared to traditional solar panels.
Minimal weight enables easy and safe installation without penetrating the roof waterproofing. High power of 39 W/kg, which is less than 30% of the weight for the same power of traditional solar panels.

Manufacturing and installation
Your solar panels are made to measure in our production facility in Järfälla. When the material is ready, our certified installers and electricians perform the installation according to industry standards.
Commissioning
After the installation is complete, we will help you submit the final notification to your electricity company. When the electricity company has approved the final notification, we commission the plant and hand over all the necessary documentation so that you can feel safe with your installation.
Electricity production
Your solar roof can now produce electricity for your own use or sale to the grid. We provide a product warranty of 10 years. Our solar roofs also have an efficiency guarantee of 90% after 10 years and 80% after 25 years.
