Notably, the mounting process involves a limited number of components that come entirely preassembled, ensuring low material costs and ease of handling. Direct fixing uses building authority-approved mounting screws, simplifying the installation process. The system is adaptable, allowing modules to be installed in either portrait or landscape orientation. Drawing from established profiles used in trapezoidal metal roofs, this system incorporates a roof-parallel direct mounting approach, compatible with bitumen shingles and membranes on wooden formwork. The Solar-Planit tool, a free planning resource, is used to precisely calculate project specifications. Users have the flexibility to define various roof coverings and formwork materials, such as wood or OSB, and can opt for mounting using stock screws, which expands the system's versatility. Classic meets modern - the brand new roof-parallel direct mounting for bitumen shingles and bitumen membranes on wooden formwork is characterised by very fast installation and low logistical effort. The modules can be laid and mounted portrait or landscape. You are certainly already familiar with the profiles used for direct mounting on trapezoidal metal sheet roof.
As usual, the free Solar-Planit planning tool is used to calculate your bitumen project. Simply select "Bitumen" as roof covering. Then you can define the formwork (wood or OSB). Of course, you still have the option of mounting on bitumen using stock screws. For this, select "Tile" as roof covering and "Bitumen shingles" as tile type.
