C-Capture - Drax Power Station Pilot Plant

C-Capture has had a pilot plant installed at Drax Power Station, N. Yorkshire, UK since February 2019. This is a key stage in allowing us to design a full scale plant capable of capturing 10,000+ tonnes of CO2 per day from one of the four biomass boilers. The data generated by the pilot plant includes the stability and efficiency of the capture process, the compatibility of our solvent technology with biomass derived flue gas, the rate of solvent degradation (a key component of the operating cost of our process), and understand and mitigate any potential environmental impact of our process.
