Apzem type adsorbent works on the principle, when solvent laden air stream passes through a bed of high-surface-area solids material and is adsorbed into the surface of the material. Our product trap pollutant molecules within it’s pores. Adsorption is defined as the concentration of a flue gases into the surface of a adsorbent. Also Apzem adsorbent scrubber specially designed for Desorption, itis a secondary process whereby solvent is removed from the adsorbent by passing high-temperature steam or other gases through it. The highly concentrated solvent air stream then goes through a condenser and a separation or distillation column where the solvent is separated or recovered from the air stream condensate. This product has been proven that it will work under the industries Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Municipal waste treatment plant, Effluent Treatment Facilities, Fertilizer production and processing industries Paint booth exhausts.
Apzem type adsorption scrubber is of maximum efficiency 99.95% destruction of flue gas can be attained. But Maintenance is intensive because of steam, condensing and distillation systems, activated carbon material. Apzem Adsorption scrubber uses various chemically treated adsorption medias for effective capturing of VOC’s, and other odorous gas. Once the micro pores of the adsorbent material are filled to capacity, the process stream is then directed to another bed of adsorbent while the original bed is “desorbed.” Dry adsorption scrubber has less running costs, high initial cost and finds very useful in treating small quantity of VOC’s and odorous gases and in site’s having no access to water and effluent treatment facilities. The amount of pollutants to be treated, the constituents in exhaust stream, it’s temperature, Humidity limits the usage of Adsorption type scrubber as an economical option. There could be other option of using packed bed scrubber, venturi scrubber or dust collectors for same application.
