Carbon OxyTech - Microfibers

The increase demand on lower weight carbon fiber composites in automotive applications is forcing the carbon fiber industry towards the development of high-quality inexpensive carbon fiber using inexpensive and highly abundantly feedstocks. The development team in Carbon OxyTech has converted the residual feedstocks into carbon fiber using new innovated technology after solubilizing the feedstock in water. Those solubilized materials have a viscosity similar to water, and easily transported through pipelines as feeds for microfiber production.
