The composition includes 17% chromium, 9% of nickel content. The grade also includes other elements like silicon, manganese, sulfur, cobalt, phosphorus and iron.

The high amount of chromium and nickel provide excellent protection and strength to the grade. It also increases its elongation and melting point. It also increases its tensile and yield strength and improves its robustness. The minimum yield strength of the grade is 25mpa whereas the tensile strength is 515 Mpa.
