Heidelberg - Model Wallbox Energy Control - Charging System
No problem. The Heidelberg Wallbox Energy Control makes it possible. Thanks to local load management, multiple networked wallboxes can distribute the charging current to up to 16 vehicles. Are you wondering if a local load management for wallboxes and charging stations makes sense? The answer is very clearly yes. This is because, on the one hand, the demand for electric vehicles will also increase enormously in the future. On the other hand, most buildings with their present electrical infrastructure are not prepared for the high charging capacities. As a result, overloads will occur quickly in the power grid, and both peak loads and the price of electricity will increase. Energy Control provides assistance and distributes the electricity powerfully and with pinpoint accuracy.

Connect smoothly and expand flexibly
If the wallboxes are incorporated into a Home Energy Management System (HEMS), the charging system can be managed easily and conveniently. Depending on the manufacturer, there are also various apps available for cost management or to monitor charging processes. The wallbox can be locked externally to protect against unauthorised charging.
Efficient use of solar power
The Heidelberg Wallbox Energy Control is perfect when photovoltaics are used for domestic electricity generation, as the wallbox can be connected to an existing on-site Home Energy Management System (HEMS) via Modbus RTU. Surplus electricity from the photovoltaic system is then used specifically to charge your electric or hybrid vehicle. And the system will only direct as much solar power to the wallbox as is currently available.
