Dukosi chip-on-cell technology with C-SynQ proprietary communication protocol is revolutionizing the performance, safety, and sustainability of battery systems.
C-SynQ is Dukosi’s proprietary communication protocol that is designed specifically for large (battery-size) networks in safety-critical environments. Designed from the ground-up, it offers robust communications with essential data synchronization, yet also with the capacity to scale nodes without reconfiguration.
The Dukosi chip-on-cell solution includes in-house designed DK8102 Cell Monitor and DK8202 System Hub connected with C-SynQ, operating using a single bus antenna and near field communication.
Dukosi Cell Monitor
Ideally installed during cell formation or cell manufacturing, the DK8102 Cell Monitor is placed on every cell in a battery. The DK8102 Cell Monitor provides specialized onboard processing and is equipped with a custom designed DSP, integrated storage to record lifetime data, integrated RF for power-efficient near field communications, and embedded firmware that runs the chip's functionality, including Dukosi's proprietary protocol.
Intelligence on every cell
Each Cell Monitor continuously measures and reports on the cell’s real-time condition and stores the cell’s lifetime data. By adding intelligence on every cell, Dukosi chip-on-cell technology unlocks access to a wealth of information battery designers and systems operators have never previously had access to.
Robust, synchronous communication
The DK8102 Cell Monitors connect to the DK8202 System Hub residing within the main BMS using C-SynQ communication.
Dukosi chip-on-cell technology with C-SynQ communication is extremely robust and power efficient, operating in the order of microwatts (sleep) to milliwatts (active) per chip.
Unlike other communication systems, C-SynQ is designed for safety-critical environments in large battery systems from the ground-up. It provides essential synchronicity of data from all cells, ensuring the BMS can make optimal decisions in dynamic power events.
