The SmartD Clean Power Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is a compact and technologically advanced AC drive designed to control 3-phase AC induction motors with exceptional efficiency. It utilizes SmartD’s proprietary algorithms and wide-bandgap (WBG) transistor technology to generate a clean sine wave, eliminating the need for output filters and enhancing motor longevity. This VFD features ultra-low harmonics and an active front end (AFE), which promotes high energy efficiency, regenerative braking, and maintains power factor close to unity. The space-saving design of the VFD reduces installation complexity, offering a footprint half the size of conventional designs. With integrated IoT, BMS, and SCADA support via Ethernet and Modbus, it's prepared for modern technological infrastructures.
