EcoPar - Model A -Cleaner Fuel for all Diesel Engines
EcoPar A is particularly useful if you want to improve your work environment by minimising toxic exhaust emissions. This includes, for example, construction and demolition work; work in parks and streets; road, bridge and tunnel building; warehousing; and work with sprinkler units and emergency generators
EcoPar A is an ultra-clean fuel for diesel engines, developed and patented by EcoPar AB. Compared with diesel oil, emissions of many carcinogenic substances are reduced by more than 90%. Furthermore, levels of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in the surrounding environment can be reduced by up to 60%.
The amount of soot in exhaust emissions is reduced even before they reach the particulate filter, while the overall toxicity of these emissions is reduced by more than 90%. Net carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are reduced by up to 50% calculated throughout their lifecycle in accordance with ISO14040-14044. Since EcoPar A is storage stable up to at least 10 years, the quality of the fuel remains stable year after year.
Common health problems caused by diesel exhaust emissions include headaches, nausea, and irritation of the eyes, nose and throat. Users who have previously experienced health problems from diesel exhaust emissions find that these problems are considerably reduced or disappear completely when using EcoPar A.
EcoPar A can be used for all applications when it is impossible to avoid working or spending time in areas with exhaust emissions; for example, construction and demolition work; work in parks and streets; road, bridge and tunnel building; warehousing; and work with sprinkler units and emergency generators.
EcoPar A is not classified as dangerous goods in accordance with the international ADR/RID provisions due to its low risks to the environment and health (except in Sweden).
As EcoPar A is non-toxic, it is harmless to aquatic organisms, including fish, roe, tadpoles, mussels, crustaceans, and algae. EcoPar A is particularly useful if you are working close to water protection areas, nature reserves, biotopes worthy of protection, and other sensitive natural environments.
EcoPar A comply with the European standard for diesel oil EN 590 and the US standard for diesel oil ASTM D975, so it can be used for all kinds of engines, burners and vehicles, where diesel oil is currently used; for example, buses and lorries, heaters, boat engines, forestry machines, excavators, compactors, tractors, lawn mowers, and reserve generators.
With EcoPar A, engine performance is slightly higher than diesel oil for most engine loads and speeds. Typically, EcoPar A reduces fuel consumption by 5% to 10%.
Every day, EcoPar A is used in thousands of applications. EcoPar A has better viscosity and lubricating properties than diesel oil in all operating conditions. Moreover, EcoPar A can withstand temperatures as low as -42°C.
