- No slag left (when burnt, briquettes leave only easily decomposable ashes)
- Steady burning
- Burning with little or no smoke, i.e. without emitting carbon monoxide, which allows their use in any residential area
- Extended burning as compared to lump anthracite coal. According to test results, burning duration of fuel (coal) briquettes is twice longer than that of lump anthracite coal. That is, producing the same amount of heat requires 2-3 times less coal briquettes than lump coal.
