Commercial Energy Storage System - Echelon Utilization of Second-Life EV Batteries

SHARE

Peak shaving: gain the spread through charging in valley and discharging at peak. Demand tariff management: through continuous recordings and analysis of user`s consumption behavior, a reasonable charging & discharging solution can be generated base on local electricity policy to reduce the user’s peak power consumption, therefore to decrease demand charge. Balance consumption loads: discharging at peak times, cut down consumption change rate, therefore balance consumption load. Cost-saving: the utilization of second-life EV battery improves the overall energy storage system economy, maximizes the lifecycle of lithium battery, and reduce the cost to $0.16 per Wh.
