Concentrator Module for Plastic Optical Fiber Solar Defender with torsion 220 V., with 1,7A feeder. Manage 2 Lines of optical fiber lenght 200 mt for each one, by 2 Loop. Double-mode to detect fiber alarm signals: interruption and torsion. Double operation mode selectable by dip-switch: Stand-alone and on BUS (communication with the control panel Solar Defender by owner protocol). Addressing by dip-switch, alarm conditions: alarm detected by fibre interruption and torsion. Signal Outputs: Alarm by fiber interruption (Loop 1 and Loop 2), alarm by fiber torsion or fire (Loop 1 and Loop 2), absence of power on the network, battery fault, Life and box tamper. The Plastic Optical Fiber is installed on the panels in a way to make impossible the theft without to break or twist the same one. When a fiber interruption and/or a torsion happens, a special optical receiver detects the change of the light transmitted by the fiber and send the information to a system of concentrator modules. These ones manage the alarm about the operating mode selected by the user: stand-alone and on BUS.

The fiber is installed as a “close ring” between the panels. Sigillo, the innovative fastening system Marss patented, allows the proper and quick installation of the fiber at the panel, without mistakes, and than malfunctioning in the systems.
 
The fiber installation does not require masonry works, excavation or pipe.
