Control Systems
A variety of standard functions and movement strategies ensure the best possible control of solar shading systems. The drive and control units allow the solar shading systems to be operated either manually or centrally. The KNX/EIB solar shading control unit provides building automation from simple control systems for the home to comprehensive networks for large installations. 8 sectors can be controlled individually.
Connections
- Sensor interface inputs possible for each channel and sensor
- Potential-free contact switches (opener/closer)
Functions
- Central brightness assessment
- Direct façade tracking system or louvre blade tracking system
- Automatic system for wind, frost and precipitation
- Automatic temperature and heat control
- 14 priorities
- 20 input and output programs
- Positioning can be configured for vertical, horizontal and roof louvre blades
- Weekly program
- Summer / winter
- Solar tracking function
- Timings can be synchronised using remote control clock
Actuator to control the solar shading drives. The intelligent motor control system can communicate with the central control unit using only one communication medium for all the commands and functions. The device is designed for 2 or 3 end position switch motors. The two, six or nine - depending on the actuator - channels can be used as individual motor controls. The motor run time is automatically calibrated for each channel and the paths of travel are synchronised if there is a difference.
Functions
- Binary input can be used for KNX/EIB command or directly as a local swtich
- Feedback on statuses with KNX/EIB
- Difference between local and central commands
- Logic function directly in the actuator
- Automatic recognition of the motor end position switch
- Wind sensor
- Brightness sensor
- Temperature sensor
- Precipitation sensor with power pack
- Simple planning
- Highly cost-effective
- Easy to install
- Easy to operate
- A variety of shading strategies
