HVI - Model PTS-15(F) -DC High Voltage Test Set and Megohmmeter
The PTS Series is a versatile high voltage DC test set and megohmmeter designed to conduct dielectric strength and insulation resistance tests efficiently. The range includes models like PTS-15, PTS-15F5, and PTS-15F6 which integrate the functionality of high voltage DC proof testing and precise insulation resistance measurement, optimizing for size and weight reduction. The instrument features a 5-range current meter with a sensitivity down to 10 nanoamps and can accurately measure insulation resistance up to 1.5 teraohms. Equipped with a 2-range voltmeter and safeguard features like rugged anti-static meters and transit protection, the equipment ensures reliable performance. The PTS Series, CE marked for compliance, provides additional options for further customization, including digital meter upgrades and safety accessories. This series offers capabilities up to 600kV DC and is ideal for applications requiring high precision and safety in testing high voltage systems.
The PTS-15, PTS-15F5 and PTS-15F6 are combination high voltage DC proof tester and megohmmeter. Dielectric strength and insulation resistance testing are combined into one instrument saving time, money, size and weight. Equipped with a 5-range current meter scaled 0 – 1 dc microamps for accurate current measurement down to a 10 nanoamp resolution in the x1 range. Using the alternate scale on the current meter allows the PTS Series to double as a Megohmmeter up to 1.5 teraohms, scaled 100-1 megohms, insulation resistance can be taken at any voltage. An accurate 2 range voltmeter rounds out the standard instrumentation. Additional features include ruggedized anti-static and transit protected meters, rugged single piece design with foam padded handles, full-wave bridge rectifier, internal shorting solenoid with discharge resistors, and is CE marked.
