With the Swedish Ferroamp we can connect both solar panels and a battery system directly to a DC bus. As a result, we have 50% less conversion losses compared to traditional PV systems where a battery is integrated. The Ferroamp system is very suitable for "Power-Sharing" between different buildings and / or users, whereby the energy is extracted as much as possible from the own network before being purchased from the grid. Think of a central neighborhood battery within a system with multiple users, each of whom has their own solar panels. These panels are then also included in the nanogrid.

Net balancing:

The central heart is the Energyhub; the coupling between the AC and the DC world.
In addition to providing the connection, the Energyhub automatically balances the three phases on the grid side. This results in an even load on the grid side and very low neutral currents. For example, the energy generated in-house is used very efficiently without unnecessarily feeding it back in, and grid managers are very pleased with the even load on the grid.

ACE (Active Current Equalizing):

Yet another function of the Energyhub is the ACE option. In this case, more power can be supplied on one phase than the grid connection is large. The additional power required is then "borrowed" from the other two phases to press the third.
Think of the possibility of being able to charge an electric car with a single-phase charger with more current than the main fuse can normally handle without blowing this fuse, after all, the current is balanced evenly on the mains side!

Both Ferroamp and our "Safer than Safe" Nilar batteries come, not coincidentally, from Sweden.
In Sweden, both manufacturers work together and seamlessly integrate their products.
