The ARC-VENT® INS-A is a deflagration vent panel equipped with internal insulation protection, specifically designed to address the thermal performance needs of battery energy storage systems (BESS). The panels integrate a synthetic rubber insulation foam layer internally, aimed at reducing thermal weak points that are typically present in venting panels. These insulation options are available in various thicknesses, ensuring the panel remains efficient during explosion events while meeting stringent internal environmental control requirements. The standard features include a grey silicone gasket compliant with UL 50 E and UL157, and foam insulation material which is UL 94-V0 certified with a thermal conductivity of λ=0.036 w/(m.K). These panels cater to applications requiring high thermal insulation without compromising operational efficiency.
