Dispersing Discs and Wear Parts
There is a large variety of dispersing and refining discs available, each developed for treatment of specific paper types. This includes knob patterns, trapeze patterns and square patterns, with close, medium or wide spacing of teeth.
It is important to select the right kind of pattern for each application. Complete dispersion of contaminants must be achieved, at the same time as the fibers are treated as gently as possible. An optimized pattern also ensures a low energy consumption.
Dispersing discs are wear parts that need to be replaced on a regular basis. We work closely with our sub suppliers in order to continuously develop product reliability with robust design and easy maintenance in focus. Cellwood offers full compatibility of new and improved discs for previously delivered machines.
Other machine spare parts like rotors, etcetera, are also available with short lead times.
