Steca - Model TF B001 -Domestic Hot Water Controllers
Steca TF B001 is a particularly cost-effective fresh water controller for heating drinking water directly and hygienically using the instantaneous water heater principle for fresh water stations in the range of 0-20 l/min, 0-40 l/min and 0-80 l/min.
In order to minimise the number of required measuring sensors (primarily for reasons of efficiency), a new intelligent and self-learning control algorithm was developed for this purpose in the Steca fresh water laboratories. This facilitates a highly efficient energy transfer from the primary buffer to the secondary DHW circuit with just one multifunctional Grundfos Direct sensor for flow and temperature detection. For OEM customers, there is also a flexible option of integrating alternative analogue flow transmitters.
The Steca TF B001 demonstrates its versatility by facilitating speed control of both standard glandless pumps and innovative high-efficiency pumps.
Due to its small dimensions, the Steca TF B001 is especially easy to integrate into compact fresh water stations. The specially designed switching power supply guarantees the greatest possible efficiency and economical operation. This is particularly characterised by the extremely low self-consumption of the controller. At the same time, the variable input voltage range enables universal and worldwide use.
An electronic load control protects against overload and installation errors.
In order to ensure a continuous and safe hygienic drinking water supply, the Steca TF B001 takes over important system monitoring and safety functions in addition to controller operation. Special error messages are displayed for quickly rectifying faults.
