Use to control 2 groups of luminaires independently of each other (same circuit, separate control) or to control 2 individual circuits of luminaires (2 protective devices at the distribution board(s) - must be the same phase). Supplied ready for Dual Control applications and ideal for controlling luminaires adjacent to windows separately to those further away. Simply remove factory fitted links from wiring compartment terminals for Dual Supply applications. Ideal for Essential / Non-Essential applications in hospitals for example. Regardless of application, these Distribution Boxes support standard (on/off) or dimmable lighting control in emergency or non-emergency versions.

Expanding a Dual Control/Supply Distribution Box

If you want to add extra luminaires at any stage you just need to plug an Expansion Box into your Dual Control/Supply Box to provide extra outlets. Extra outlets will be added to Supply Group B.

If you want to control an extra group of luminaires separately, share just power from your Dual Control/Supply Box using a Supply Tap-off Box.

You can plug them in direct unit-to-unit, or via a lead.

Dual Control Wiring Diagrams – 1 supply, 2 Control

Using flex7 plug-in control devices c/w integral emergency luminaire test means only a permanent live, neutral and earth are required.

Note: Retain factory fitted link for Dual Control Applications.

  • All units come with unique snap on/off single point fixing brackets.
