Details:
In the program with layer separation, known as the '60cm-N-min program,' the drill rod is driven 75 cm deep into the ground using a hydraulic impact mechanism, then rotated by 100 degrees and pulled out. During the pulling up, the first horizon of the soil sample (0-30 cm) is emptied into container I of the magazine. By laterally shifting the magazine container, the second horizon of the sample (30-60 cm) is then emptied into container II. The remaining 15 cm of auger content serves as a plug and is discarded.
The programs without layer separation are used to take standard samples, 0-10 cm for grassland, and 0-30 cm for arable land. In these programs, it is possible to take two mixed samples of 15 punctures one after the other, and then empty the magazine containers in one operation.
The desired program is selected using a program selector switch on the control cabinet. The DP60-UP is operated with a wired control panel featuring functions like EMERGENCY STOP, trigger puncture, cancel puncture, and counter.
To operate the Duoprob-60-UP, a 12 V DC power supply and a hydraulic output of 24 liters per minute with a maximum of 140 bar are required.
The DP60-UP can be operated as a tractor attachment, but it is also suitable for attachment to:
• Special trailers such as AH1 and AH2
• Pickups
• Light vehicles such as
-John Deere Gator
-Kawasaki Mule
-Kubota RTV, etc.
For all carrier vehicles without their own oil supply, a separate power pack is used.
Due to its design and hammer mechanism, the DP60-UP is an extraordinarily fast and robust partner for soil sampling.
Brief Function Description:
Percussion System
The groove bar is driven into the ground with a Lifton hammer (2,500 blows/min.), turned hydraulically, and pulled out again.
During the lifting of the drill rod, the automatic emptying into the various containers takes place.
The sample material from the individual horizons is moved into the corresponding sample containers by moving the magazine.
