Duro - HDPE Pin Insulators

HDPE pin insulators are designed to support distribution and sub-transmission conductors, typically in a vertical orientation, by threading the insulator on to a pin installed on the crossarm or pole. Conducting cables are secured to pin insulators with the use of wire ties.

Peak Demand’s Duro Series HDPE insulators are manufactured using high density polyethylene for maximum lifecycle durability.  HDPE is recognized throughout the utility industry as the premier material for insulation due to its lightweight, resistance to breakage and increased leakage distance.
