Nortroll CableTroll - Model 2310 - Earth Fault Indicator

The CableTroll 2310 is a specialized indicator designed for the detection of earth faults in both multi-core and single-core cable terminations, catering to systems with a voltage range of 6-36kV. It integrates a NorTroll type current sensor and offers flexibility in configuration through programmable dip switches. The device supports trip level adjustments for PtG faults, ranging from 5A to 240A with both fixed and adjustable levels. It provides various reset options including manual, timer, automatic, and remote resets. Indication features include PtG fault detection and battery monitoring with relay output options for PtG in both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) circuits. Powered by either a lithium battery or DC range of 9-48V with battery backup, it also offers a mains power option for broader application scenarios. This makes it an essential tool for enhancing reliability in underground medium voltage distribution networks.
