SMARTEC - Model LT and ZT -Electric Drive Systems

Designed for maximum efficiency, safety, and ease of use, the SMARTEC® Electric LT system delivers superior performance and flexibility. Powered by a 48 volt DC source, the SMARTEC Electric LT transaxle consists of a variable speed AC induction motor coupled to a gear reduction with a split axle differential. The system allows the OEM to adjust all drive performance parameters- from the aggressiveness at take-off to the braking speed when stopping- all drive characteristics are tunable via a controller.  The SMARTEC® Electric ZT is a single axle drive system that can be used individually or operated independently in pairs. Powered by a 48 volt DC source, the Smartec Electric ZT transaxle consists of a variable speed AC induction motor coupled to a gear reduction driving a single axle. The user friendly drive by wire system provides smooth acceleration and power yet produces zero emissions. The system is fully tunable via a controller.
