DEWA - Model CSGE -Electrical Clean Steam Generator
Clean steam generator for the production of ultrapure, non-pyrogenous steam of fully de-ionised water for the sterilisation of tanks, pipes and apparatuses. This type of clean steam generator is a mobile compact unit. Due to a built-in DI-water flashback chamber and a built-in waste water tank the plant is able to operate self-sufficient. Generator only requires a high-voltage socket.
The steam generator essentially consists of an evaporation tank as well as a separation vessel where an effective demisting and separation of particles occurs:
- through cyclone effect
- through baffle-plates
- through low steam velocity
Evaporation tanks and separation vessel are heat-insulated with mineral fibre and a stainless steel facing.
The plant features a 100 liter storage tank made of stainless steel. A probe in the tank indicates the limit values of the filling height and protects pump against dry running. All parts of the plant are mounted on a mobile stainless steel skid. Steam connection is performed as a flexible steam pressure hose.
Operation of clean steam generator is fully automatical. The sterilisation cycle is started manually. When required temperature, previously adjusted, has been reached pre-selected sterilisation time starts to run down. The requested clean steam pressure can be adjusted.
Each product-contacting part of the plant is made of stainless steel, AISI 316L or even higher. Control of the plant is placed in a control cabinet. All operating stages are displayed. Faults are announced additionally by an acoustic alarm.
