Energy Check junior - Energy Measuring Devices
The ideal set of equipment for projects in schools on the subject of saving energy, atmospheric environment, water consumption, lighting and energy requirements of electrical devices. The measuring devices are stored clearly laid-out in a special case and are always fully to hand.
The following measurements can be carried out with the scope of supply:
The relative humidity and room temperature can be measured with the two digital temperature-humidity measuring devices. The measured values are shown on the large LCD display and can also be logged if chosen. The dew point temperature can be calculated from the relative humidity and the room temperature. The data can be read out via an RS-232 interface with the accompanying software.
Surface temperatures, water and air temperatures can be measured with the digital precision thermometer. The wall temperature can be tested for critical dew point temperature values (mould potential).
The indoor and outdoor temperature and their minimum and maximum values can be measured with the two digital temperature measuring devices. The ambient air temperature and its min. and max. values can be measured with the two analogue thermometers.
Using the luxmeter, classrooms and laboratory areas can be tested for sufficient illumination levels and even distribution of brightness, which are preconditions for fatigue-free seeing. This way, deficits can be detected or unnecessary switching-on of the lights avoided.
Using the flow rate measuring beaker, the water consumption at every water tap connection can be analysed.
Using the energy measuring device, the energy consumption in watts and kilowatt hours and the energy costs can be calculated.
