EBERL - Model V-Premium -Energy-Saving Kiln
The V-Premium kiln by Eberl represents an advanced solution for wood drying, utilizing both energy-saving and efficient drying techniques. This system operates without the need for a heating connection or water supply, relying on a heat pump for dehumidification through condensation and heat recovery. The integration of the heat-pump circuit directly in the air stream of the vacuum kiln maximizes energy efficiency, while the vacuum process itself lowers the boiling point of water, enhancing drying efficiency. The kiln is equipped with economic central fans and lateral aeration slots that ensure even air distribution. User interaction is facilitated via a simple and intuitive touch panel, allowing input of wood type, thickness, and desired moisture content. Additionally, remote monitoring and control are made possible through a visualization program, supporting operation from computers and smartphones.
- For wood amounts from 12 to 100 m³
- The ideal vacuum drying kiln for wood traders and saw mills wishing to dry larger amounts of wood but not necessarily having an external heating unit.
- Energy-efficient system
- 100% heat recovery during dehumidification, therefore no external heating source required
- Highest possible energy efficiency because the heat pump is located directly in the stream of circulating air
- Fast, economic, high-quality drying
- Only electric power connection required, thus giving complete flexibility in site selection
- For outdoor use due to frost-resistant and integrated control room.
Thanks to energy conversion we achieve a high level of energy efficiency due to dehumidification by condensation and due to heating by means of heat recovery. In the Eberl system, the heat-pump circuit is located directly within the stream of circulating air of the vacuum kiln, therefore providing the highest increase in efficiency.

Pressure reduction decreases the boiling point of water as a result enables
- fast and gentle drying through an accelerated and even moisture extraction from the wood.
- high-quality drying and increased flexibility
- lower energy expenditure (for both air circulation and water evaporation) which means economic drying, protects the environment and saves money.
