Ohmcraft's Ultra High Voltage Chip Resistors (UHVC Series) leverage the company's patented Micropen® precision printing technology to provide resistors with the highest voltage ratings available in the industry. The UHVC Series features serpentine patterned resistors that deliver superior electrical characteristics. These resistors typically require potting upon assembly due to their high voltage ratings. Constructed with a thick film resistive element on a 96% alumina substrate, these resistors are encapsulated with epoxy and terminated with tin over a nickel barrier, or lead solder over a nickel barrier. They are available in bulk packaging, tape and reel, or flat pack, and conform to EIA-481 tape and reel specifications. The UHVC Series is designed to meet diverse requirements and can be customized upon request. Applications span medical, test & measurement, power supply, defense, and aerospace sectors.
