Akhelec - Model MX - Fire Extinguishing System for Concrete Pit
Fire extinguishing system for concrete pits housing high-voltage electrical transformers (63 kVA to 400 kV). Transformer stations retrofitted to comply with the applicable fire suppression regulations. Rapid disposal of the dielectric liquids in the pit. Natural extinguishing of the flames without any risk of the fire re-igniting.
Patented fire extinguishing system for concrete pits comprising a set of factory-assembled galvanised sheet metal baffle plates. 1.5-mm galvanised sheet metal fire extinguishing baffle plates.
Copper or stainless steel terminal grounding system. 5-mm thick galvanised frame.
Galvanised grating measuring 30x30x30 covering the baffle plates to allow for maintenance of the whole structure and to allow staff to move around.
It is placed directly on the pre-installed system of HEA load-bearing beams and peripheral brackets.
The equipment must be installed by a company that has been accredited by AKHELEC to issue and delivery the end-of-works approval certificate.
Otherwise, an acceptance/delivery audit of the works will have to be carried out in order for AKHELEC’s warranty to be activated.
