Aristoncavi URSUS - FLY POWER 0.6/1kV Cable for Heavy Duty Applications
The URSUS FLY POWER 0.6/1kV cable is engineered for mobile power connections under harsh mechanical conditions. It is designed to endure heavy-duty usage characterized by abrasion and crushing, making it applicable for both indoor and outdoor settings. The use of a halogen-free polyurethane sheath offers reduced weight without compromising mechanical integrity and resistance to abrasion. This cable leverages smaller gauge wires in its conductors to mitigate electrical resistance loss due to the skin effect at higher frequencies. Tinned copper is employed to enhance corrosion resistance. The symmetrical design is optimized to reduce voltage drops, and the cable is suitable for 400Hz power supply systems frequently used in applications such as grounded pits, cable retrievers, and aircraft hangars. It also functions as a reeling cable thanks to its anti-twisting system.

Cable designed for power mobile connections, under severe mechanical stresses, for heavy duty conditions, abrasion and crushing. For indoor and outdoor application. Halogen free polyurethane sheath used grants more lightness by retaining the mechanical properties and abrasion resistance. Use of smaller gauge wires, in the conductors designed, in order to avoid loss in electrical resistance due to skin effect caused by the increased in frequency. Against corrosion effect, it is used tinned copper. The symmetric cable designed, permits to optimize the voltage drop. Typical use is for 400Hz power supply systems, as in grounded pits, in cable retrievers, in aircraft hangars, etc. Suitable also as reeling cable due to anti-twist sistem.
