The URSUS FLY POWER 0.6/1kV cable is engineered for mobile power connections under harsh mechanical conditions. The use of a halogen-free polyurethane sheath offers reduced weight without compromising mechanical integrity and resistance to abrasion. This cable leverages smaller gauge wires in its conductors to mitigate electrical resistance loss due to the skin effect at higher frequencies. Tinned copper is employed to enhance corrosion resistance. The symmetrical design is optimized to reduce voltage drops, and the cable is suitable for 400Hz power supply systems frequently used in applications such as grounded pits, cable retrievers, and aircraft hangars. It also functions as a reeling cable thanks to its anti-twisting system.
