Ground calcium carbonate is widely used as an inexpensive dietary calcium suppliment or as an additive in food premixes. It is also used in pharmacuetical formulations and tabletting. The production of all products complies with UNI EN ISO 22000:2005, Directive 95/45 EC, 95/2/EC (E170) and with the latest edition of the FCC. The select pharmaceutical grades (Puro Ph M/1 and Puro Ph V/40S) also comply with European Pharmacopeia and the USP.
