Morningstar - Model TriStar MPPT 600V -High Voltage Charge Controller
The TriStar MPPT 600V™ is a breakthrough in high voltage charge controller design that can charge Lead-Acid, Lithium, NiCd, and other battery chemistries (custom settings programming is required for Lithium, NiCd, and other battery chemistries). By accepting PV array input up to 600 Voc, it enables installers to design systems with longer, fewer strings, reducing cabling and hardware which make installation and wiring easier and faster. Morningstar’s advanced digital engineering combined with superior thermal management make the TS-MPPT-600V with TrakStar technology the only charge controller in its class that doesn’t require a cooling fan or fans, making it both extremely reliable and efficient (with 97.9% peak efficiency). Rated for 60 Amps, the TriStar MPPT 600V controller does much more than efficiently charge batteries; it also provides remote communications, data logging, adjustability and metering. In fact, the TriStar MPPT 600V controller is the only 600-volt PV controller to offer open communication protocols and true Ethernet-enabled functionality.
