This tailor-made Smart Home Battery System consists of three components: 1) 7.6kW or 9.6kW split-phase, AC and DC coupled inverter (grid isolation when DC coupled). 2) External isolation transformer. 3) 8.2kWh 256V DC high voltage Lithium Ion (LiFePO4) battery module. The system can support 6 modules for a maximum capacity of 49.2 kWh to store energy from solar or grid.  Use the stored energy during high demand or sell it back to grid in troughs time. They`re compatible with both new installations and retrofits.

7.6 or 9.6kW Inverter

Each system requires one inverter. Emporia offers a choice between two different inverter powers: 7.6kW and 9.6kW. The inverter is installed separate to the battery systems.

Transformer

Each Home Battery System also comes with a Transformer. US grid regulation requires an isolation transformer be installed on the back-up output side.

Battery Module

Each Home Battery System can accommodate up to six 8.2 kWh Battery Modules to provide capacity from 8.2 to 49.2kWh of storage. The Battery Modules come with BMS and intelligent EMS cloud monitoring.

Pair the Home Battery with the Emporia Vue to know when peak load times are so you can switch to stored energy. Or know when rates are lower so you can sell back to the grid.
