GEROtherm - Horizontal Earth Collectors Piping System

Gerodur offers GEROtherm piping earth collectors GEROtherm KIT - Outside (complete system). KIT - Outside includes a full soil circle and distributor including mounting.
Working closely with a major manufacturer of heat pumps has created a complete system "GEROtherm ^® KIT Outside". This construction corresponds to the characteristic thermodynamic parameters (VDI4640), the pump for a cold operation and technical advantages of hydraulics (soil circulating pumps from this manufacturer). Through intelligent layout and installation is guaranteed that collector system can and will work effectively, like in the case of a vertical geothermal facilities.

Horizontal installation of geothermal systems in the private sector is affected by a large proportion of the input power. With this in mind, the current plastic geothermal systems GEROtherm were developed with SKZ HR3.26 / A278 supervision.

Gerodur offers two different methods for installing the systems of geothermal energy:

Laying in trench with sand backfill
GEROtherm earth collector PE-GT, classic type with SKZ HR3.26 / A278 Geothermal Systems: Supervision for installation with sand backfill

Laying in trench without sand backfill
GEROtherm earth collector FAST-GT-RC (resistant to high point loads and to cracking), with SKZ HR3.26 / A278 Geothermal Systems: Supervision for installationwithout sand backfill

Production of high-quality PE granulates can be achieved cost-effective installation without sand backfill. The pipes are made of a new generation of PE and PE-RC. This pipe resistant to point loads and cracking is attested just for laying in trencheswithout sand backfill. When installing GEROtherm - Outside KIT-RC pipe is not required to bear the additional costs for the replacement of excavated materials for sand backfill. The soil will be used as backfill for the trench.
