The electrical heating is realised by a flange heating element that operates at a voltage level of 400/690V. Electrical outputs of up to 8 MWel can be realised with these heating elements.
The combination of electrical energy and conventional fuels offers you increased redundancy and flexibility, which significantly improves your security of supply. The flange heater can be operated both in continuous operation and for grid stabilisation and can convert voltage peaks into steam/heat.
