Benson - Hydrogen Purification Process System
The hydrogen purification process usually uses four adsorption towers, which are respectively pressurized, adsorbed, desorbed and flushed. The four towers alternate in turn to ensure continuous flow. The adsorbent is divided into three layers, the first layer is alumina or silica gel, which adsorbs moisture; the second layer is activated carbon, which adsorbs CO2 and hydrocarbons; the third layer is 5A molecular sieve, which adsorbs O2, N2, CO, CH4 etc. gases.
