Deionized water equipment is an ion exchange system. Different ratios of anion and cation exchange resins can form ion exchange cation bed systems, ion exchange anion bed systems, and ion exchange mixed bed systems. Mixed bed systems are typically used as a final step after reverse osmosis and other water treatment processes to produce ultrapure and high-purity water. It is an irreplaceable method for preparing ultrapure and high-purity water.
Its effluent conductivity can be below 1 μS/cm, and its effluent resistivity can reach above 1 MΩ·cm. Depending on different water quality and usage requirements, the effluent resistivity can be controlled between 1 and 18 MΩ·cm. It is widely used in the preparation of ultrapure and high-purity water for industries such as electronics, power generation, chemicals, electroplating, boiler feedwater, and pharmaceuticals.
