This work area LED dock light provides 1,530 lumens of high quality light while drawing only 0.15 amps at 18 watts on a 120V AC power source. The machined aluminum alloy body of the LED light head is powder coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance. Special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture to achieve an excellent 50,000 hour rated lifespan with 70% lumen retention. This light is available in both a 25° focused beam and a 60° wide flood beam to fit a variety of lighting requirements.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.

Cree Specific: The LEDs in this unit are Cree units that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme long life. These Cree LEDs provide over 85 lumens per watt effective lumen output and have a 70% lumen retention at 50,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than traditional light sources. These lights are equipped with high purity optics and available in a 25° spotlight configuration for long beam length or 60° flood configuration for wide area coverage. Utilizing a polycarbonate lens, this fixture produces a higher light output than similar fixtures equipped with thicker glass lenses. The WAL-SBDL-LEDBLT-60 is offered in 5,000K cool white with a color rendering of 85.

The high output LED light head is mounted to an adjustable two-part swing arm constructed of light weight aluminum. The two piece arm design provides two pivot points, one at the mounting bracket and one in the center of the swing arm. The aluminum swing arm swings 170° from the mounting bracket point and 340° from the center pivot point, while the light head is vertically adjustable up to 270°, providing full adjustability for this 18 watt LED light. This switch blade swing arm can be mounted with the light head oriented on the top side or bottom side of the arm, allowing operators to illuminate objects in any location. This swing arm is ideal also for mounting the unit to loading door areas and docks for use as a loading bay or dock light.

This LED dock light is universal voltage capable and can be operated with standard 110-277 VAC, 50/60Hz without any need for a special ballast. The aluminum body and LED lamp give this light excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LED luminaries. The LED lamp produces 1,530 lumens with a color temperature of 5000K and a color rendering index of 85 which produces colors and details much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaries.

Wiring and Plug: This LED swing arm dock light system is equipped with 20` of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps.
