2E mechatronic - Model UNC-LED - Lighting Element for Medical Use
The UNC-LED lighting element is designed for specialized applications, particularly within the medical field such as laryngoscopes. Featuring a standardized UNC thread, this LED element is constructed from a combination of a plastic body and a brass sleeve, ensuring an efficient installation into designated devices. Operating within a voltage range of 3-5 volts and a current consumption of approximately 80 mA, the device provides sustained performance with a battery life of up to 20 hours. By incorporating a constant current source, the LED maintains consistent brightness despite fluctuations in battery voltage, an advantageous trait for surgical applications. The device has a relatively low power dissipation of 0.2 watts, supports custom light temperature settings, and boasts a lifespan exceeding 10,000 hours. Leveraging Mechatronic Integrated Devices (MID) technology, it replaces traditional halogen lamps, offering size reduction and less heat output.
