Solid particle contaminants are the most common factor leading to failure and shutdown of hydraulic and lubrication systems, so industrial oil must be filtered and purified before being injected into the system. The pollution degree of unpurified new oil often exceeds the requirements of actual hydraulic system oil regulations. Since new oil has a high initial pollution level, most new oil (even if it is just extracted from an oil tank) is not suitable for direct use. There are many reasons for the pollution of new oil.
