Elkima Transfo - Magnetic Controlled Reactor (MCR)

MCR is a thyristor based active compensation System. Connected to the grid in parallel and reactive power conrolled between 2-100%. MCR’s reactive power control principle based on changing impedances by fully loading reactor. Has Reactive Power Control, Passive Harminic Filtration and Voltage regaulation features. Main application field of MCRs are compensation of capacitive reactive power caused by XLPE cables and inductive loads.
