As a global leader in flexible foam for the equipment insulation market and a leading provider of engineered foams, we have acquired A.D. IZOLIR in 2022, a major Serbian manufacturer of pre-insulated pipes and one of the top three producers of heat-shrinkable joints in Europe. This acquisition extends our footprint in Europe, enabling us to reach more customer segments in new geographies. We are further adding new capacities to our product portfolio, entering the energy-efficient and fast-growing pre-insulated pipe market.
Our IZOLIR brand draws on more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing pre-insulated pipes for industrial, commercial, and residential heating applications, including district heating.
Our manufacturing initiative encompasses a thorough and comprehensive approach to the production of our pre-insulated pipes. Adhering to industry standards like EN 253 and DIN 30670, our focus extends to various facets, including the production of thermo-shrinkable joints (EN 489) and polyethylene pipes designed for water (EN 12201), gas (EN 1555), and sewerage applications. Noteworthy attention is directed towards implementing advanced techniques, such as robot welding, to enhance the anti-corrosive protection for steel pipes.
