Model Nimbus -LED Panel Luminaire

The Nimbus is a low profile LED panel designed specifically for use in hazardous areas. It provides significant space and energy savings over traditional Zone 1 recessed fluorescent luminaires. Onboard offshore facilities such as control rooms, accommodation areas and corridors, ceiling void real estate is often at a premium. With this in mind, the Nimbus was created. The compact nature of LED technology has allowed for the low profile of the Nimbus panel. It is intended to be mounted below the ceiling tile, this is not competing for space with other utilities such as HVAC, fire safety and telecomm services. As there is no disruption to the ceiling structure, the SOLAS B-15 fire rating is also maintained. The pure white (4000K) LEDs provide excellent uniformity and colour rendering (CRI >80). The panel features push to dim capabilities allowing light levels to be adjusted independently.
