Areas of application
The NORAS material is used as heat protection plate for heated presses, mainly in wood processing. For insulation across large areas, with low pressure and high temperatures, NORAS is an economic solution.
Furthermore NORAS is used as radiation protection and spacer material, as well as for accessible hot plate covers in press assembly (however, sheet metal covers are recommended for covers that personnel walk on during assembly tasks).
