Model VT/VNT/VNT-U/VST High Temperature Series - Nickel-Cadmium Batteries (Ni-Cd) of Arts Energy

The ARTS T/VNT/VNT-U/VST high temperature series is ideally suited for use in the emergency lighting sector and security systems. The VNT and VNT-U series feature a unique plastic base for the nickel electrode, resulting in denser energy delivered by the rechargeable batteries and the ability to operate in low temperatures. The rechargeable batteries are suitable for long-term buffer operation, under charging with C/20-C/15 current for a minimum of 4 years in high temperatures (55oC for VNT-U and 40oC for the others). Capacities measured under C/5 current are: VNT series from 1.6 Ah to 4 Ah, VNT-U from 1.6 Ah to 4.2 Ah, whereas the VT series from 2.2 to 7 Ah. These rechargeable batteries do not permanently lose capacity if stored for prolonged periods, and in particular in high temperatures (VNT-U).
