Sigenergy - Model SigenStack - Modular Energy Storage System
The SigenStack is Sigenergy's advanced modular Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) designed for commercial use, characterized by its flexibility, reliability, and scalability. Its modular architecture allows for seamless site integration, straightforward system placement, and easy installation, without the need for cranes or specialized equipment. Each module delivers 12 kWh and can be precisely configured to meet specific project requirements, thereby optimizing investment and minimizing redundancy. The system's lightweight design ensures ease of transport and installation, with a high energy density allowing more installations while minimizing space utilization. SigenStack employs Smart Air Cooling, which dynamically adjusts fan speeds to reduce noise, and features comprehensive pack-level safety management with six internal protective layers, including smoke sensors and thermal controls, enhancing safety against thermal events. Operating with a DC-coupled configuration, it enhances efficiency by reducing energy conversion losses, improving round-trip efficiency by up to 2% over traditional AC-coupled systems.
The batteries are lightweight and compact, providing greater convenience for transportation while eliminating the need for special foundation.

These 6 layers of protection inside each battery pack redefine system safety： Smoke sensor, full-coverage temp. detection, high-temp. resistant insulated pad, insulation and heat isolation layer, a decompression valve and a fire extinguishing kit.
Granular fire suppression per 12 kWh, with faster and more precise thermal runaway control than traditional fire suppression solutions.
Lower CAPEX, free from PV inverter, extra AC combiner or MV station, etc. A simpler system with fewer devices and points of failure always leads to higher availability.
As a DC-coupled solution, SigenStack improves round-trip efficiency by up to 2% compared to traditional AC-coupled solutions where energy is lost due to AC/DC conversion and extra cables*.
