NEXTracker - Network Control Unit (NCU)
The latest Network Control Unit (NCU) coordinates tracker operations while continuously gathering on-site component and weather data. It offers flexible operation with proven reliability and precise control. Connected to the Datahub via Ethernet or fiber optics, the NCU serves as the intelligent, resilient nerve center of the system.
Flexible Installation
Each NCU connects with up to 200 SPCs and can be installed at the inverter pad or distributed across the array. Multiple mounting options allow for flexibility in siting.
Battery Backup
NCUs operate reliably whether AC-connected at the inverter or self-powered in distributed setups. An integrated battery ensures up to 36 hours of operation during low-light conditions or grid outages.
Automate or Manual
Integrating real-time data from Weather Stations and cloud applications, NCUs can automatically issue stow commands during wind, hail, or flood events. For manual operation, a front panel provides direct in-field access.
